Hi, I’m Anna,

an English-speaking nutritionist and the founder of NutritionMate, a virtual nutritional therapy service. Based in Berlin, I provide expert nutrition advice to individuals and families. My journey began with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by families with special needs. Over the past five years, I’ve seen firsthand the nutritional gaps that often exist for children in these families.

With this insight and my experience working with individuals with autism and selective eating, I am dedicated to bridging these gaps.

My goal is to offer compassionate nutrition guidance and practical tools to support both individuals and parents who may feel overwhelmed while navigating the challenges of neurodivergent minds and selective eaters.

As an English-speaking registered nutritional therapist (BSc with Honours), I specialise in supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, and mood disorders. My focus is on improving brain health, addressing selective eating, digestive issues, and mealtime behaviours.

I understand the challenges of unexplained symptoms and the daily struggles that often go unnoticed by others. For individuals on the spectrum, nutrient deficiencies can significantly impact their ability to thrive. Mealtimes can be overwhelming, often leading to picky eating or problem feeding.

In my practice, I adopt a personalised nutrition and lifestyle approach that recognises the uniqueness of each individual. To help expand food comfort zones and encourage trying new foods, I utilise the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) feeding approach, a valuable tool in my work.

When supporting children, I’ve found that sustainable improvements are most effective when parents are actively involved. As a coach for parents, I guide them in implementing and reinforcing positive changes, which are essential for ensuring long-term progress.
